Businesses that actively participate in their local communities create more than just economic value. They build trust, foster goodwill, and contribute to the overall well-being of the people around them. We at Environmental Landscape Services want to be known for not only being a quality local landscaper but also being actively involved in supporting our local communities.
Why Local Community Engagement Matters to US
Our local Morris and Somerset County communities are home to us and our employees! Our families and friends live here, our children go to school here, and our business roots are here. Because of our customers within our own community we have been able to grow and provide quality services to those who we consider not only customers but neighbors. Our success is our community's success and vise versa.
At Environmental Landscape Services we want to gain new partnerships, new opportunities, and insights into community needs. Businesses that listen and respond to their community learn how to serve their customers better. Not only that, but the best way for us to thank the community for their support and business over the years is to give back to it!
Ways We Have Supported Local Communities
Donations:
In May 2026 we put 2 baskets together for the Mt. Olive High School Band Booster Association's Tricky Tray event. And of course they were plant themed, one even came with a $50 gift card to a local nursery Plant Detectives!

Volunteering:
In April 2026 we spent a day helping give our local volunteer fire department in Chester, NJ a fresh start for the year with a spring cleanup! Installed new mulch and planted some beautiful roses and day lilies.

Sponsorships:
We sponsored 2 events this year, Mt Olive High School Band Booster Association's Tricky Tray and Educational Foundation of The Chesters Spring Stampede 5k. We are also a sponsor for the Chester Mendham Baseball and Softball Club for the 2026 season!

Ways you can help your community too!
Many local events offer opportunities for businesses and residents to get involved. Here are some common types of events that benefit from donations, volunteers, or sponsors:
Food drives and holiday meal programs: You can donate food, funds, or volunteer to help distribute meals.
School fundraisers and educational fairs: Support through donations or sponsorships helps improve resources for students.
Environmental cleanups and tree planting days: Volunteering for these events shows commitment to sustainability.
Health awareness campaigns and free clinics: Sponsorships can fund important health services and outreach.
Arts and cultural festivals: Donations and sponsorships help keep local culture vibrant and accessible.
Youth sports leagues and tournaments: Sponsoring teams or events encourages healthy activities for children.
Build Lasting Relationships With Your Community
In a world that often feels disconnected, the importance of fostering lasting relationships with our community cannot be overstated. These connections are the foundation upon which we build trust, support, and unity. We at Environmental Landscape Services can not thank our community enough for the business and support that we have received over the years and love that we can now pay it forward within those same communities. Ultimately, building lasting relationships with our community is about more than just social interaction; it is about creating a shared vision for a brighter future. Join us in continuing to reach out and support one another, for in doing so, we build a legacy of love and connection that will endure for generations to come.
